Xhibition Kitchen

Creating Culinary Memories & Experiences 

The cutting edge venue at the dining halls is the Xhibition Kitchen, located at 11 Speare Place inside the Food Hall at Stetson West. The Xhibition Kitchen, or "XK," is our version of a Food Network set including a state of the art exhibition kitchen complete with overhead cameras that project onto flat screen high-definition televisions, induction stove tops, yellow granite counters and round top tables for classroom style seating.

Since 2004 we have hosted over 430 chef demonstrations, cookbook signings, cooking classes, and interactive display cooking events. James Beard Award nominees and winners including Jacques Pépin, Dana Cowin, Ming Tsai, Dorie Greenspan, Diana Henry, and Amanda Hesser; local restaurateurs such as Barbara Lynch, Joanne Chang, Jody Adams, Tony Maws, and Nick Varano; and television personalities including Top Chef judge Gail Simmons, Travel Channel's Adam Richman, Food Network's Alex Guarnaschelli and Robert Irvine, and Top Chef Season 10 winner Kristen Kish have all visited the XK.

XK events are free admission: If you would like to attend just the Xhibition Kitchen event without eating lunch in the dining room, please sign in with an ID and proceed directly to the XK. If you plan to stay for lunch and eat in the dining room, please pay the meal rate upon entrance. Thank you and enjoy the show!

The Xhibition Kitchen is an innovative space for experiential learning, located at 11 Speare Place inside Food Hall at Stetson West. A variety of programs are hosted in this cutting-edge kitchen which include chef demonstrations, cooking classes, book signings and interactive display cooking.
